So happy to celebrate the successful 8th annual Pumpkins in the Park on Saturday, October 20th with all of you again. This amazing event was organized by our wonderful Civic Hospital Neighbourhood Association (CHNA) and we are so proud to be a contributing member since it first started back in 2010. The Susan Chell Team looks forward to supplying all future pumpkins, big and small, in the years to come. With each passing year, more neighbours are attending this Fairmont Park gathering, showing such a strong community bond. There was a ton of excitement in the air this year, from the bouncy castle provided by Stan’s HVAC, fun face painting by The Colourful Chameleon and Halloween safety tips by Constable Neilly with the Ottawa Police Service. A local favourite, The Merry Derry offered gift cards for the costume contest, there was also hot coffee from Bridgehead and delicious tea from David’s Tea. Last but not least, a round of applause and thanks to the executives from CHNA for preparing a delicious bake sale and a terrific day. We all look forward to seeing more friendly faces next year as this event continues to grow and prosper. We at the Susan Chell Team thank all the volunteers and everyone’s continued support.
